The Handshake of Carbon and Silicon
Over the past decade, we have always treated AI as an external tool. But in the ultimate vision of AIOS, this boundary will completely disappear. Through high-bandwidth, low-latency Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), silicon-based computing power and carbon-based sensibility will fuse into an unprecedented “Synthetic Intelligence.”
Two Directions of Fusion
- Plug-in Brain: AIOS acts as a real-time online “cloud co-brain,” taking on human logical operations, long-term memory, and multi-language translation tasks, while humans retain only the decision-making power of high-level intent.
- Bottom-level Architecture Alignment: By imitating the synaptic mechanism of biological neurons, silicon-based chips are beginning to be able to perform heuristic thinking like humans, while the human nervous system is beginning to adapt to the direct scheduling of digital instructions.
The Watershed of Evolution
This fusion is not only a technological advancement but also a new stage in anthropological evolution. When an individual’s cognitive boundaries can be extended infinitely with the increase in computing power, the traditional definition of “human” will be rewritten.
